The key learning points from the recent California real estate agent attack based on the video and what the victim said in an interview:
1- Trust Your Instincts- she stated this guy gave her a creepy feeling
2- Know What's Going On Around You- pay attention stay off your phone especially if you feel something isn't right unless you're calling 911
3- Suspect Was Trying To Lure Her Into A Closet- asking weird questions or making unusual requests are a clue something isn't right
4- Get Out of the House If Something Doesn't Feel Right- she told him she had clients on the way and got out of the house, the result may have been different if she was in the house when the attack occurred
5- Scream, Fight Back, Do Something Don't Be An Easy Target- she said he stopped attacking her because she yelled, most criminals do not want to to deal with someone who fights back or screams
6- Be Prepared, Never Turn Your Back On A Threat Unless You Are Fleeing the Area- maintain distance and keep your eye on the other person don't ever turn your back to them and take your eyes off them

- Are you aware of what type of information you post on social media makes you a target?
- Are you aware of your surroundings and what to look for when at a property?
- Does your office have safety policies in place?
